Today is October 6th, 2009. This is my first post on Alyssa and Jacob. Alyssa is in 5th grade. She is in the top 21 in her class and she is in a gifted Math and Science Program. Her father and I are so proud of her accomplishments. Alyssa is in the Drama club and has a performance coming in December. Alyssa is a very smart and witty girl. She will tell you exactly what she thinks and will not beat around the bush with anything. It is either yes or no.. never any gray.. maybe sometimes. Her beliefs are sustained and she will stand her ground for what she believes to be right. She has an amazing voice when she sings. For the life of me I wish she would take vocal lessons.. but she refuses and says she is scared. Alyssa was a competitive cheerleader since she was 5 years old. Recently we quit cheering as she wanted to focus more on Drama and other things she likes. Prissy..yes she is.. like her mom.. but I would not have it any other way.. crazy and outgoing and a zest for life.. yes she has that too. Alyssa will keep to herself how she feels about something til she has fully analyzed the situation.. then she will open up.

Enough about Alyssa.. on to Jacob.. he is 2nd Grade. He is the happiest red-headed kid on the planet.. You could be totally down in the dumps and Jacob will brighten your day. He is always happy and has a huge imagination. He loves life and gives everyone the benefit of the doubt and has a huge heart. Jacob is so much like me.. bubbly and loves everyone.. he is such a free spirit. He plays with my hair and tells me he loves me all the time. When I am sad.. he always gives me butterfly kisses. He is full of adventure and one minute he is playing swords with Cameron across the street the next they are Pirates and climbing in the trees in the back yard.. He is all boy. Jacob wrestles, runs track and field and is in the Cub Scout Troop.
